July 2025 Update - A New Chapter
I live my life to seek out adventures. This Summer marks the start of a new adventure for me!
In May, I left my (amazing) job at Bank of America.
I wasn’t sure how my co-workers would react. I spent the last three years on the investor relations team, analyzing banking and market trends for the management team, crafting earnings releases for Wall Street, and prepping our executives for industry conferences as one of the youngest Vice Presidents at the entire company.
To be fair, everyone seems to be a VP in banking, but few reach that level at age 26.
My team of five had become like a family to me, and I feel like the luckiest person ever to get to learn from them and start my career surrounded by the best executive, CFO, and IR team in the industry.
As the past four years went on, I’ve had ambitions for a bigger adventure. Of course, I want to build an amazing career for myself, but I also want to build an amazing life for myself.

If you know me well, you may know I considered resigning after my first year at the bank to move to New Zealand.
Ever since then, I have wanted to travel and experience more of the world.
In fact, I’ve wanted to experience more of the world for as long as I can remember. I have to thank my my amazing parents for instilling the love of adventure in me, and I now recognize how privileged I am to have taken so many family trips to different cities growing up.
So, for the past few years, I’ve set my sights on finding a way to travel more.
I considered resigning and living off savings, working for the bank from London, or starting a business and becoming a digital nomad.
And as I continued to pray, reflect, and dream about what the future had in store for me, the pieces fell right into place.
I told many people about my dreams - and everyone wanted to help. I was introduced to other entrepreneurs and opportunities, and doors started to open for me.
One of the doors felt like the perfect opportunity, and looking back, I already know that it was the right path.
Last year, my best friend Michael and his mentor from Google, Matt, started a digital marketing agency. It’s called Foundation Media, and after many conversations (and part-time work earlier in the year), they invited me into their partnership as our Head of Growth.
We designed a role for me from scratch, one where I could drive forward our sales, partnerships, business strategy, and accelerate our growth as a company.
So far, I’ve discovered there’s good news and bad news about running a marketing agency.
The good news is that all we have to do to be successful is to achieve stellar results for our clients, and tell other businesses about our services.
The bad news is that most other marketing agencies stink.
As we continue to build our brand and differentiate our expertise and results from the rest of the pack, we continue to learn and evolve. We have complete conviction in our expertise and results, as evidenced by our growing and satisfied client base.
I met with over 75 business owners, entrepreneurs, potential clients, and founders in the past six weeks and attended over a dozen events. I’m off to the races, and I’ve already started making my first sales!
I’ve always thought networking was a bit of a superpower for me, and now I have a way to use it to grow our business.

Over the next six months, I want to grow Foundation Media to $1M in annual recurring revenue, get in the best physical shape of my life (while improving my pickleball game), and explore some new cities and countries.
Next year, I hope to move to Spain (perhaps Madrid?) and live the digital nomad life for a bit, while exploring other parts of Europe, too.
Here’s some other rapid-fire updates:
I continue to give back to my alma mater, Elon University, by serving on the Young Alumni Council, volunteering at events in the new Charlotte center, and mentoring students
I had the opportunity to invest in a major pickleball parent company, and am looking forward to seeing how that plays out
My girlfriend Blake and I took a fantastic 10-day trip to Dublin, London, and Iceland earlier in the year - thanks to everyone that sent us travel recommendations!
My friend Daniel and I are aiming to qualify again this year for US Disc Golf Doubles Nationals in October
I’m biking over 100 miles in a 24 hour charity bike event this July to raise money for cancer patients and research in Charlotte
I started volunteering at The Re-Cyclery, which recycles and up-cycles bikes for kids in need in Charlotte
I wasn’t much into podcasts or books until the past year, and it turns out I love business / entrepreneurship content - let me know if you want recommendations
Over the next year, I look forward to traveling more, increasing my level of service to others, and learning a ton - here’s to more adventures! ✌️
